Is listing my business really free?
Yes. No credit card, no invoice later, no auto-billing. We're building the directory and want as many local businesses on it as possible, so the listing costs nothing.
When you add paid plans, will you charge me or remove my listing?
No. Any listing created free during launch stays free permanently. The paid tier will be an upgrade with extra features, not a bill for what you already have.
What's the catch?
There isn't one. A new directory needs businesses on it before it's useful to customers. Later we'll offer optional upgrades like featured placement and analytics. That's how we plan to earn revenue.
How is this different from Yelp, Angi or Google Business Profile?
We don't resell or share your leads, and we don't sell the same lead to five competitors. Every inquiry goes to your phone, your email, your website. We're a directory of local businesses, not a lead broker.
How do customers actually find my listing?
We're an early-stage directory founded in May 2026. We invest in local SEO, schema markup and content for each page so it can rank over time for searches like "best plumber in" your city. We don't promise specific rankings or lead volume. Anyone who does is overstating. Listing early gets your page indexed while categories are still open.
What areas do you cover?
Independent businesses anywhere in the United States can list. We're based in Hillsboro, Oregon, so our first city pages cover the Portland metro's west side, and we add cities as businesses join.
What kinds of businesses can list?
Independent local businesses of nearly any kind: home services, contractors, auto repair, restaurants, shops, salons, fitness, accountants, attorneys, real estate, medical, dental, veterinary and more. We don't list national chains or franchise headquarters, or funeral, cremation, end-of-life or memorial services.
